A lover of animals, things that are very cute, living with a dog, vibey spaces, Europe, thrifting, hugs, cheek kisses, sunshine, laughing with a best friend, girls’ nights, sweet boys like my partner and brothers and Dad, nature, deep conversations, working out, biking, therapy, coffee + a sweet treat. I will laugh and cry with you, ask you what your enneagram is, compliment the hell out of you, and along the way work really hard to turn the magic I see in you into photographs you want to show everyone.

Everyone tells you to specialize in one area of photography. Optimize your page for one SEO term. Rank on Google for the one thing you do. But what if you like lots of things? (Like, so many things!) I used to think I wouldn’t be hired by people and companies if I didn’t specialize or if I shared more than one type of work. But now I want to be hired by people who see that everything I create is beautiful and helpful. Who understand that the skill used to style and capture a home is the same skill used to see the shapes of architecture in a city and the light through the trees and the touch of your hands. It’s all connected. It’s my perspective, my creativity, and my eye that you’re hiring.
I love running around with couples and families and kids capturing love and life in ways that uniquely whisper that’s us. I love hiking up a mountain and inevitably crying behind the lens while you exchange vows next to an alpine lake. I love capturing intentionally-designed environments for architects and interior designers who value sustainability and beautiful spaces. And I love documentary travel — witnessing people living daily life in a foreign city filled with character. I love emotive people, places, and environments, and I’d love to capture it all for you — on digital or film.

Pretend there are no rules with me, at least for the day. Let’s worry less about the family outfits matching and more about how the day feels, the time with your favorite people feels, these once-around-the-sun moments feel, and make art that feels free, beautiful, and like you.
I still have a high (seriously, crazy-high) attention to detail which is a real work horse on architecture + interior design shoots. (That’s not going anywhere.) And I’ve discovered that being able to sink into the shoot, be present, and feel free in your bodies and in the moment makes the most magic. And magic is what I’m all about.
